Once logged in, you can select multiple files by clicking and dragging your mouse over them or by holding the ctrl key and clicking on each file. Mac users can hold the cmd key and click to select several files.

File Approval System

Every Media Lightbox account includes the ‘File approval’ feature. The approval system is ideal for requesting approval on a design or prototype from your boss, colleagues or a client.

Need more users, storage or bandwidth? Upgrading your Media Lightbox account is easy. Once logged in, simply visit the upgrade section to change your plan and customize your account to suit your company.

Folder Access Control

Media Lightbox enables you to control folder permissions for single users and custom groups. Site managers could, for example, give the accounts department access to important spreadsheets, whilst the design team have access to design and marketing folders.

Lightboxes

Lightboxes are a great way of gathering files that are stored in different folders around your system. By adding them to a lightbox, you have a copy of them in one handy location, ready to send to others.

Video Training Tutorials

Posted 12th April 2010 by    email Email article     share Share article

First off, I am going to lay my cards on the table and say I am a big fan of video training tutorials! I first got into them at university when they started popping up on the web and now they are all over the place ranging from hours of detailed training on how to use a certain software package to a few minutes showing such things as how to make a cup of tea!

For me there is no better way to learn a new software package and there are many companies who specialise in this. A few I have used in the past are:

With these companies there are 2 main ways to view the videos, either with an online subscription, were you can watch their videos right from their site or by purchasing a DVD off them.

There are also plenty of other websites such as Creative COW which host free video training tutorials as well as DVD’s you can buy. It was Creative COW where I first found great written tutorials before they started moving into video tutorials. After a while they released the Creative COW Master Series, DVD’s made by professionals for professionals at an affordable price… around $49.99 – $39.99 (£33 – £26)

I have bought many of these DVD’s and currently I am about to watch Internet Killed the Video Star by Aharon Rabinowitz, a guide to creating video for the web. This DVD will show me what I need to do to make my videos look the best in Flash, on the web and for podcasts from one of the industry’s most respected leaders. I will write a review on this DVD when I have finished it and will let you know what I think.

And if you need to transfer big files of video tutorials or need a file uploading service for your clients or work colleagues to collaborate on video tutorials; check out the feature-rich systems of MediaLightBox.com where you can get a FREE TRIAL account in seconds!
