The 10 Best Limousines in the World

Ever wondered how far some limousine owners go to stand out from the rest? I wondered the same and researched the craziest limo designs I could find. Hold on to your tophats as we explore Media Lightbox’s favourite Limos in the world.

You’ll remember back in July 2010, when I covered the Top 5 offices in the world. I loved researching the topic and exploring the relationship between working environment and productivity. Some companies create a workspace that the rest of us find hard to imagine, with a seemingly infinite budget!

These companies also spend thousands on transport costs, couriering discs and memory drives to clients, when they could simply be sent online using Media Lightbox. I decided to to research limousines, an expensive and luxurious mode of transport and find out how far people go to stand out from the crowd and travel in style.

Interesting Limousine Information

License – Limousine drivers require a driving license and in USA, a specific test is required. In other states, all that is required is the completion of form.

Safety – All limousines must meet the same safety requirements as other vehicles and the chauffeur may need a specific license to carry large numbers of people.

Cost – The price of a limousine ranges from from $30,000 to $300,000 for a custom built model. Car conversions can also be done, where an average car is cut in half and the two halves joined by large steel bars. The exterior is made to match the original car and the interior customized to the customers requirements. The exhaust system also needs to be extended.
