Selecting Files

Once logged in, you can select multiple files by clicking and dragging your mouse over them or by holding the ctrl key and clicking on each file. Mac users can hold the cmd key and click to select several files.

File Approval System

Every Media Lightbox account includes the ‘File approval’ feature. The approval system is ideal for requesting approval on a design or prototype from your boss, colleagues or a client.

Upgrading

Need more users, storage or bandwidth? Upgrading your Media Lightbox account is easy. Once logged in, simply visit the upgrade section to change your plan and customize your account to suit your company.

Folder Access Control

Media Lightbox enables you to control folder permissions for single users and custom groups. Site managers could, for example, give the accounts department access to important spreadsheets, whilst the design team have access to design and marketing folders.

Store Graphic Files Online

To store your graphic files (in any file format) on Media Lightbox, you must first create a folder by simply clicking on the ‘Folders’ tab in the navigational bar. The folders page will open and a default folder will be displayed called ‘*Quick Send Folder’. This folder will store all graphic files that you upload via the Quick Send feature.

To create a new folder in your Media Lightbox account, just click on the ‘Add Folder’ option. A new folder will be displayed at the start of the folder list, and you will have the opportunity to rename the folder before saving. Complete these simple steps to create the total number of folders that you require.

By creating folders on your Media Lightbox account, you will now be able to manage and store your graphic files online.

 

Online Graphic File Storage: The “Upload Feature”

To store your graphic files online, simply select the ‘Upload’ tab on the navigational bar. You will be redirected to the Media Lightbox upload page, where all of the folders that you have created will be displayed.

Select the folder you wish to store your graphic files in, by clicking on the folder name. A new window will appear. Now click on the ‘Select Files to Upload (100MB)’ button, and your local directory will be displayed in a new window. Once you have selected the graphic files you wish to store, click on the ‘Open’ button.

The graphic files that you select will be displayed in the ‘Upload Queue’ in the initial window that opened, and when all files have been successfully uploaded to your file storage account, a message prompt will be displayed.
